08 HUNYO 2025 — Pinangunahan ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ ang pagtugon sa pangako nito sa mga dumadaan sa San Juanico bridge na gawing alternatibong ruta na ang Amandayehan Port sa Basey, Samar para sa mga sasakyan at kargamentong naapektuhan ng limitasyon sa pagdaan sa nasabing tulay na ipinatutupad ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) kung saan pinaka-apektado ang mga truckers at mga may kargang higit 3 tons.

05 June 2025 — The ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ has assured the public of the resilience and readiness of ports across the country, highlighting its ongoing efforts to strengthen climate-resilient infrastructures and uninterrupted operations amidst the rainy weather conditions.

23 MAY 2025 — In line with the circulating articles and public officials remarks urging the ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ to take actions regarding the operational status of Amandayehan Port in Basey, Samar; the Port Management Office of Eastern Leyte/Samar urges shipping operators and stakeholders to coordinate closely with concerned agencies and to refrain from disseminating unverified information that could mislead the public or disrupt safe port operations.

23 MAY 2025 — The ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ proudly reaffirms its position as one of the country’s top-performing government-owned-and-controlled corporations (GOCCs), with a dividend remittance of P5.20 billion to the National Treasury.

12 MAYO 2025 — Sa pagtaas ng bilang ng mga pasahero sa mga pantalan ngayong #Eleksyon2025, pinakamaraming reklamo pa rin ang natanggap ng ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ sa Batangas Port mula sa mga pasahero dahil sa kawalan ng mga tauhan sa ilang ticket booths ng mga shipping lines.

09 MAYO 2025 — Mas pinalawak na imprastruktura at mas ligtas na biyahe— ito ang pangunahing pangakong bitbit nina Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ General Manager Jay Daniel Santiago sa kanilang pagbisita ngayong Biyernes (Mayo 6, 2025) sa Port of Matnog kasama ng iba pang mga opisyal ng pamahalaan.

07 MAY 2025 — The ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ is anticipating a surge in port passengers during the national and local election period from May 9 to May 13, 2025, with an estimated 1,155,238 travelers expected to pass through major ports nationwide.

This forecast reflects a 5% increase from the 1,100,227 passengers recorded during the 2022 election period. While still below pre-pandemic levels—such as the 1,745,885 passengers in 2019—the projected increase indicates a steady rebound in domestic port travel.

02 MAY 2025 — The Manila South Harbor, the country’s premier international trade gateway, has undergone a major upgrade through a ₱5.7 Billion private sector investment by Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI) and global partner DP World. The project includes the extension of Pier 3’s berth to over 600 meters, expanded yard capacity to accommodate 20,000 TEUs, two new ship-to-shore cranes—the largest in the country—and new eco-friendly landside equipment that cost nothing from the government but will surely give more to the public.

22 APRIL 2025 – President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. officially led the inauguration of the newly completed Port Operations Building (POB) under the Balingoan Port Expansion Project in Barangay Bauk-bauk, Municipality of Balingoan, Misamis Oriental together with the officials from the Department of Transportation and representatives from the national and local government alongside with port stakeholders on April 22, 2025.

21 April 2025 — Holy week 2025 is generally peaceful in all ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ managed ports nationwide serving over 2,291,666 passengers this year, a 37.14% increase from the Holy Week passengers last year with only 1,670,984 on the same period respectively from April 12 to 20.

PPA General Manager Jay Santiago said this increase can be attributed to the coincidence of Holy Week 2025 with Summer Vacation and the effective promotions of Philippine local tourist destinations.
