15 DECEMBER 2025 – The ֦Ƶ recorded a strong financial and operational performance in 2025, reflecting its continued commitment to strengthening the country’s ports while delivering efficient and people-centered service to passengers, port workers, and stakeholders nationwide.

REVENUE

As of October 30, 2025, the PPA generated ₱24.97 billion in revenue, a 10.57 percent increase from ₱22.58 billion recorded during the same period in 2024.

12 DECEMBER 2025 – The Philippines has taken another step in enhancing its role in global trade and regional shipping networks as President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., inaugurated the new Port Operations Building (POB) at the Port of Banago, Negros Occidental, on Friday, December 12, 2025 together with the officials from the Department of Transportation (DOTr) headed by Acting Secretary Giovanni Lopez, the ֦Ƶ General Manager Jay Santiago, local government leaders, and port stakeholders.

04 DISYEMBRE 2025 — Ilang mga pantalan na nasa ilalim ng pamamahala ng Philipine Ports Authority (PPA) ang nakapagtala na ng kanseladong byahe bunsod ng malakas na alon at hangin na dala ng Tropical Depression Wilma ngayong ika-apat ng Disyembre 2025.

Kabilang sa mga may naitalang kanseladong byahe ay ang mga Port Management Office (PMO) na nasa bahagi ng Visayas at Mindanao, kabilang na ang PMO Western Leyte Biliran, PMO Eastern Leyte Samar, PMO Bohol, PMO Bicol, at PMO Surigao.

27 NOVEMBER 2025 — The ֦Ƶ remains confident in meeting its 2025 targets as it reports strong revenue and operational performance as of October 2025. This steady growth is driven by the continued rise in cargo, container, and passenger traffic across all PPA-managed ports nationwide.

12 NOBYEMBRE 2025 — Matapos ang pananalasa ng bagyong ‘Uwan’ sa Luzon, nagsagawa ng inspeksyon sina Department of Transportation Acting Secretary Giovanni Lopez at ֦Ƶ General Manager Jay Santiago sa Pio Duran Port sa Albay, Virac Port, at San Andres Port sa Catanduanes sa rehiyon ng Bicol ngayong Martes, Nobyembre 11, 2025.

09 NOVEMBER 2025 — In support of the national government’s disaster relief and recovery operations following Super Typhoon “Uwan,” the ֦Ƶ has suspended the collection of Roll-On/Roll-Off Terminal Fees (RRTF) for all vehicles delivering rescue equipment and essential relief goods.

8 NOVEMBER 2025 — Kasunod ng pagtama ng bagyong ‘Tino’ sa Visayas at ilang bahagi ng Mindanao, at sa gitna ng banta ng bagyong ‘Uwan’,siniguro ng pamunuan ng ֦Ƶ na tuloy-tuloy ang koordinasyon nito sa iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan, mga port terminal operator, at mga shipping line upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng publiko.

06 NOVEMBER 2025 –The ֦Ƶ successfully concluded its nationwide “Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Undas 2025” with a total of 1,721,200 passengers recorded across all ports from October 27 to November 5, 2025.

The figure is lower than the projected 2.2 million travelers after several trips were cancelled due to adverse weather conditions brought by Super Typhoon Tino which affected sea travel in various parts of the country during the long weekend.

30 OKTUBRE 2025 – Tumugon ang Philippine Ports Authority sa ilang mga komento at sumbong online kaugnay ng mga umano'y nanghihingi ng pera sa labas ng Batangas Port bago makapasok sa pantalan sa pamamagitan ng pag-deploy ng mga port police sa mga papasok na mga motorista ngayong araw, Oktubre 30, 2025.

Sa isinagawang inspeksyon at panayam, sinabi ng mga driver na nakausap ng ahensya na walang nanghihingi ng pera o anumang uri ng lagay sa kanilang pagpasok sa pantalan. Wala rin silang naranasang pamimilit kaugnay ng insurance o anumang dagdag bayarin.

27 Oktubre 2025 — Maagang nag-inspeksyon sa Batangas port sina Department of Transportation (DOTr) Acting Secretary Giovanni Lopez at ֦Ƶ General Manager Jay Santiago ngayong Lunes, ika-27 ng Oktubre 2025 upang tiyakin ang kahandaan ng mga pasilidad, kawani, at operasyon ng pantalan sa inaasahang pagdagsa ng mga pasahero sa paggunita ng Undas 2025.
