17 DECEMBER 2024 — In line with its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the ports under its jurisdiction, the ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ conducted a surprise drug testing for its regular and contractual employees on December 16 and 17, 2024, at the Head Office Building, coinciding with the peak holiday season.
12 DECEMBER 2024 — Nagbigay ng paalala si ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ General Manager Jay Santiago sa mga nagpaplano na magpadala ng balikbayan box ngayong Kapaskuhan, na magpadala na nang mas maaga upang matiyak ang agarang pagdating ng mga ito sa kanilang mga pamilya sa Pilipinas. Pinag-ingat din ng opisyal ang publiko sa mga mapagsamantala na nang-iiscam ng pera para sa kanilang padala.
11 DECEMBER 2024 — In support of the 18-day campaign to end Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) this December, the ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ has launched a series of initiatives aimed at promoting gender inclusivity, safeguarding the rights of passengers, and creating a safer environment in the country's ports. These activities coincide with the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act (RA 9262).

04 DISYEMBRE — Kaugnay ng 18-Day campaign to end Violence Against Women (VAW) ngayong buwan ng Disyembre at bilang pagtalima sa Safe Spaces Act, naglunsad ang ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ ng mga programa at information drive upang tiyaking umiiral ang pagkakapantay-pantay anuman ang kasarian at mapanatili ang kaginhawaan ng mga pasahero sa Ìýbiyahe ngayong magpapasko.
29 NOVEMBER 2024 — The ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ has reaffirmed its dedication to sustainability and innovation in the maritime sector by reducing the carbon footprint of ports as restated in a seminar on Realizing Carbon Neutral Ports in the ASEAN Region on November 28 to 29, 2024 in Manila with key industry players, policy makers, and sustainability advocates discussed actionable strategies and innovations for greener port operations across the region.
20 NOVEMBER 2024 — The Philippine Coast Guard-Philippine Ports Authority (PCG-PPA) K-9 Training Academy is poised to become the premiere provider of K-9 security services in the Philippines, setting new standards for canine-based safety and protection nationwide. With a focus on world-class training, cutting-edge facilities, and expert instructors, the K-9 Academy aims to revolutionize K-9 security operations across the country.
19 NOVEMBER 2024 — The ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ announced that the Manila International Container Terminal (MICT), the country’s sole dedicated container handling facility, achieved a record monthly volume in October, underscoring its preparedness for the peak holiday season.
Operated by International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), MICT handled 275,028 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) during the month. This milestone, driven by recent growth in foreign trade, includes an all-time high of 147,935 TEUs in imports.
16 NOVEMBER 2024 — In preparation for the busy December travel season, the ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ and Manila North Harbour Port, Inc. (MNHPI) have commenced a series of major upgrades to the North Port Passenger Terminal. These improvements are set to enhance convenience, streamline services, and provide a more comfortable experience for travelers, aligning with PPA’s mission to develop a modern and efficient national port system that supports trade and national development.
