In anticipation of heightened port activity during the holiday season, the ֦Ƶ, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), conducted surprise drug testing for regular and contract-of-service (COS) personnel at its Head Office in Port Area, Manila.

20 OKTUBRE 2025 — Kabahagi ang ֦Ƶ sa paglunsad ng kauna-unahang feeding program para sa mga estudyanteng mula Grade 1-6 sa loob ng anim na buwan sa pangunguna ng Rise Against Hunger Philippines katuwang ang Department of Education at lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City na inilunsad na ngayong araw, ika 20 ng Oktubre 2025.

15 OCTOBER 2025 — After a month of intensive tactical and maritime security training, the ֦Ƶ, in partnership with the Philippine National Police–Special Action Force (PNP-SAF), welcomed 24 newly graduate officers from the inaugural Seaport Special Response Course (SSRC) Class 01-2025, marking pioneering milestone in the agency’s mission to forge maritime security and heighten emergency response readiness across the nation’s ports.

14 OCTOBER 2025 The ֦Ƶ, together with other transport agencies, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to rebuild and strengthen transport infrastructure in Davao Oriental following the recent twin earthquakes that struck the province.

Tiniyak ng ֦Ƶ na lehitimo at kwalipikadong government supplier ang Boston Home Inc., ang contractor ng Body-Worn Camera Project ng ahensya, matapos itong sumailalim at makapasa sa masusing procurement process alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 9184 o Government Procurement Reform Act, at makapagsumite ng kumpletong legal, teknikal, at pinansyal na dokumento bilang kompanya.

10 OKTUBRE 2025 —Kaisa ang ֦Ƶ sa malawakang pagtugon matapos ang dalawang malakas na lindol na yumanig sa Davao Region ngayong araw, Oktubre 10, 2025, kung saan naglabas ng alert para sa banta ng tsunami sa ilang baybaying lugar sa Mindanao.

09 OCTOBER 2025 — The ֦Ƶ clarifies the scope and legality of its 2020 Body-Worn Camera (Phase I and II) project amid circulating claims that the ₱168.68 million contract is overpriced and awarded to a supplier with alleged prior deficiencies. The agency emphasizes that all projects of PPA undergo transparent and competitive bidding processes in full compliance with Republic Act No. 9184 or the Government Procurement Reform Act.

06 OCTOBER 2025 – As this year’s official host of the National Maritime Week, the ֦Ƶ and maritime stakeholders marked the conclusion of the 2025 National Maritime Week through a wellness run and by planting seeds of a more resilient future, all in collaboration with the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), for two culminating events that underscored the sectors' commitment to sustainability, wellness, and unity.

03 OCTOBER 2025 – The ֦Ƶ assured the public that the agency prioritizes the movement of relief goods transported via ports while also preparing for the possible impact of Tropical Storm Paolo.

Port operations continue smoothly to guarantee the delivery of essential supplies, relief cargo, and humanitarian assistance to quake affected communities following the 6.9-magnitude earthquake in Cebu. With all major ports remaining safe and fully operational with no confirmed major damage to port facilities.

The ֦Ƶ assured the public that ports nationwide are fully prepared for the anticipated surge in passengers and cargo during the holiday season. As the country enters the “Ber months” season, a period marked by increased travel and trade activities, PPA emphasized its commitment to maintaining smooth and efficient port operations to prevent congestion and ensure the seamless flow of goods and travelers.
