15 ABRIL 2026 – Bilang tulong sa mataas na presyo ng produktong petrolyo at sa taas-presyo ng mga bilihin, sinimulan na ng ֦Ƶ ang implementasyon ng PISO (Php 1) Ro-Ro Terminal Fee(RRTF) para sa mga sasakyang may kargang hilaw at hindi naprosesong produktong agrikultural, alinsunod sa Administrative Order No. 003-2026. Layunin nitong mapagaan ang gastusin ng mga transporter sa gitna ng tumataas na presyo ng krudo, mapabilis ang daloy ng logistics, at matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na suplay ng pagkain sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa.

09 APRIL 2026 — The ֦Ƶ reported positive feedback from passengers following the pilot implementation of the Online Reservation Assistance System (ORAS) during the peak travel period of Holy Week implemented from March 26 to April 8, 2026, ORAS introduced a simple three-step digital booking process: Scan. Choose. Reserve, aimed at improving passenger experience and easing congestion in major ports.
06 ABRIL 2026 — Umabot sa 2.23 milyong pasahero ang naitala at naserbisyuhan ng ֦Ƶ sa katatapos lamang na paggunita ng Semana Santa 2026 (9-day period) mula sa mga pantalan sa buong bansa mula Palm Sunday hanggang Easter Sunday na nangangahulugan ng 7% decrease kumpara sa naitalang 2.41M na pasahero nitong nakaraang taon sa kaparehong panahon.
30 MARCH 2026 – The ֦Ƶ assured the public of its full readiness to accommodate the expected surge of passengers this Holy Week, as it implements heightened operational measures under Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Semana Santa 2026.
Before the Semana Santa surge, PPA General Manager Jay Santiago already committed a full manpower PPA force nationwide with passenger traffic projected to reach 2.46 million from March 29 to April 5, 2026, slightly higher by 1.70% compared to the 2.41 million recorded during the same period last year.
26 MARSO 2026 — Simula ngayong araw (Marso 26, 2026) maaari nang magamit ang Online Reservation Assistance System (ORAS), ng mga pasahero na magpupunta sa piling pantalan sa bansa upang maagang makabili ng ticket para sa kanilang mga biyahe.
Binuo ng ֦Ƶ ang ORAS para sa layuning mapabilis at mas maging maayos ang pagbili ng ticket ng mga walk-in passenger sa pantalan sa tulong ng tatlong simpleng paraan: ang SCAN, CHOOSE, at RESERVE.

25 MARCH 2026 – As fuel prices continue to rise and affect the cost of goods, the ֦Ƶ is taking steps to help ease the burden on transport and food supply by setting the Ro-Ro Terminal Fee (RRTF) to one peso (P1.00) forvehicles carryingagricultural products.
The policy, issued under Administrative Order No. 003-2026, aims to keep the movement of farm goods fast and affordable across the country, while helping maintain a stable food supply.
24 MARSO 2026 – Inilunsad na ngayong araw ng ֦Ƶ ang Online Reservation Assistance System (ORAS), ang digital solution na inaasahang magsasaayos, magpapabilis, at magiging kasagutan sa taon-taong problema ng mga pasahero patungkol sa reserbasyon ng ticket at magpapadali ng proseso para sa mas episyente at tuloy-tuloy na biyahe sa mga pantalan.
Bilang tugon sa mga reklamo ng mga pasahero at bilang inisyatibo ng PPA upang mapadali ang biyahe lalo na tuwing peak season, mas pinadali na ang pagreserba ng biyahe bago magtungo sa pantalan.
13 MARSO 2026 — Maagang nag-inspeksyon sa Batangas Port Passenger Terminal ang pamunuan ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) sa panguguna ni Acting Secretary Giovanni Lopez, Philippine Ports Authority General Manager Jay Santiago, kasama rin ang Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), at Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), upang tingnan ang sitwasyon sa isa sa pinakamalaking pantalan sa bansa nitong Biyernes (Marsos 13, 2026) sa Batangas Port.
